mCare Ultra Protection Plan (MUPP) provides coverage for accidental damage and liquid damage incidents for one year from the date of purchase or activation (whichever is earlier), as these are not included in the standard 1-year Apple Warranty. Terms and Condition
  1. Claims for repairs related to accidental or liquid damage coverage are valid only within one year from the date of purchase or activation, whichever is earlier.
  2. Claims for battery repairs are valid within two years from the date of purchase or activation, whichever is earlier.
  3. Claim valid only within 1 year from the date of purchase (or) activation whichever is earlier.
  4. A charge of 99,000 MMK should be paid by the user as part replacement fee for Screen & Back Glass.
  5. A charge of 999,000 MMK should be paid by the user as a whole unit replacement fee if whole unit repair is required.
  6. A period of 90 Days functional guarantee will be provided for replacement parts.
  7. Approval for repair will take a minimum of 2 working days from the date of receipt of the device to the Apple Authorized Service Provider (“AASP”).
  8. The parts replacement shall be subjected to parts availability. AASP shall not be responsible for its non-availability due to force majeure.
  9. Issue will not be covered if that could be resolved by upgrading software to the latest version.
  10. All claims must be presented with proof of purchase.
  11. mCare will not be liable for any loss of data.
  12. mCare will not provide Hardware Services in the following circumstances :
  • Wear and Tear: Hardware services will not cover protection against normal wear and tear or the repair of cosmetic damage that does not affect the functionality of the Covered Device.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Services won't be provided for preventative maintenance.
  • Lost or Stolen Devices: Coverage does not extend to replacing Covered Devices that are lost or stolen.
  • Willful or Reckless Damage: Repair won't be covered if the damage is due to reckless, abusive, willful, or intentional conduct, or any use of the Covered Device in a manner not normal or intended by Apple.
  • Non-Covered Products: Damage caused by products that are not Covered Device is not covered.
  • Unauthorized Servicing: If the Covered Device has been opened, serviced, modified, or altered by anyone other than Apple or an authorized Apple representative, repairs may not be provided.
  • Post-Purchase Plan: Conditions won't be repaired if you purchased the Plan after you purchased the Covered Device.
  • Altered Serial Number: Repair may not be provided for devices with serial numbers that have been altered, defaced, or removed.
  • External Causes: Damage caused by fire, earthquake, or other external causes may not be covered.
  • Data and Cybersecurity: Loss, damage, or corruption of electronic hardware or software used for information processing within the Covered Device, except for specifically covered losses, is not included.
  • Missing Parts: Devices missing parts listed in the hardware overview from Apple (www.apple.com) may not be repaired.
  • Severe Damage: Devices that are destroyed, forcibly separated into multiple pieces, or severely damaged, including glass, enclosure, logic board, or severely bent enclosure and antenna band gap, may not be eligible for repair.

    Are there any restrictions to buy mCare Ultra Protection Plan?
    Before buying mCare Ultra Protection Plan, the device must be passed a physical inspection and diagnostics. Only local devices which are sold by AAR (or) allocated for Myanmar will be able to purchase mCare Ultra Protection Plan and have rights to claim. Customers will be able to buy mCare Ultra Protection Plan within 14 days of your device activation.
    When does the coverage start and end?
    Coverage starts on the date of purchase (or) activation whichever is earlier. This means that if you buy mCare Ultra Protection Plan up to 14 days after your purchase date (or) activation date, the coverage will be counted from your purchase date (or) activation date (not from the date of purchasing mCare Ultra Protection Plan) Coverage ends after 12 months from the date of purchase (or) activation of the device.
    Where can I claim mCare Ultra Protection Plan?
    You are able to claim at any mCare Apple Authorized Service Provider located in Yangon & Mandalay.
